Coordinator Assistance - Coordinators can assist with technique, approach and content during preparation time.

No assistance during the debate.

Preparation - The topic will be released by email and on the portal 1 week prior to the debate, students may begin preparation as soon as the topic is released.

Computers - Computers may be used during preparation.

Computers - Computers can not be used during presentation. Paper or Palm Cards only.

Coordinator Supervision - A coordinator (or supervising teacher) must be present for the entire debate.

Students may begin preparation as soon as the topic is released.

Computers - Computers can be used during preparation.

Computers - Computers can not be used during presentation. Paper or Palm Cards only.

Coordinator Supervision - A coordinator (or supervising teacher) does not have to supervise the debate.

However, if there is no supervising teacher, then your team forgoes the right to an adjudication review.

If an unsupervised team is found to be misbehaving or failing to comply with the rules, they may be disqualified and the ANVDC Chief Adjudicator will notify their coordinator and supervision will be required for all future debates.

During preparation time, all students should be present and visible on camera to ensure they're following correct procedure and etiquette.

Students may begin preparation 60 minutes before the scheduled start of their debate.

Teams MUST join preparation via your debate link. Teams that do not join preparation will be forfeited.

Computers - Computers/Internet can be used for the first 15 minutes of preparation time ONLY.

Computers - Computers can not be used during presentation. Paper or Palm Cards only.
